Saffron

Before our acquisition by Intel, I was a UX team of one at Saffron, doing work ranging from research to prototyping, design, and production UI code.

Streamline

Streamline was a reference application for issues and defections resolution built on top of our proprietary cognitive computing platform. It was a precursor to the later Similarity Advisor.

I developed four main user personas for the Streamline project based on 24 user interviews.

My work on the project included initial research and persona development, feature validation testing, wireframing, prototyping, and production implementation in HTML/CSS.

Streamline allowed users to compare bodies of issues and defects against each other based on a similarity score, determined by Saffron Memory Base.

My workflow involved brainstorming concepts with the team on the whiteboard and with paper prototypes, and then progressed to Balsamiq and Sketch wireframes that could be shared for validation. I implemented features in HTML/CSS for handoff to engineering.

Saffron SDK + Dashboard Builder

Streamline IDR was a version of Streamline that showcased mashup dashboard concepts from the SDK.

Feedback from users resulted in a change in strategic direction. Rather than a workflow application, there was a desire for a flexible SDK containing UI components, and a way to consume them to create lightweight dashboard mashups. The Saffron SDK was an answer to that desire. It contained D3 and React.js components along with a lightweight data ingestion and NLP workflow.
