Primecast is a provider of fiber phone and internet service. They work in collaboration with DIRECTV. During my time there I was the solo Designer, and I was charged with creating an innovative eCommerce solution that would meet with DIRECTV’s strict branding standards.

I conducted remote research around the country using remote video gathering tools like TryMyUI, including tests of competitors as well as of my own prototypes. I was able to come up with a simple solution that would allow users to subscribe to a service package in fewer than 6 clicks. This was in stark contrast to many other online subscription solutions offered by competitors, which were complex and required users to make multiple decisions.

In addition to the eCommerce solution, I also designed a customer self-service portal that allowed users to manage and pay their bill, request a service appointment, and order additional services.

Unfortunately the parent company of Primecast has since been sold, so the website is no longer available.
